MotoGP Pick the Podium Contest – Results for Round 11 – Indianapolis

Round 11 of our MotoGP Pick the Podium contest saw some high point scoring, but there was a clear winner on the top step.  The fight for 2nd position came down to the first tie-breaker, which is the margin of victory.

Congrats to the podium finishers – the trick is to keep competing every week and let the points pile up! In addition to the Grand Prizes that will be awarded at the end of the season, we have prizes awarded after every race, so you can play for those prizes as well as stay in the hunt for the long haul. Here are a few facts about the selections for Round 11 at Indianapolis:

1. Jorge Lorenzo was selected over 50% of the time to win the race

2. One player predicted the EXACT margin of victory (3.5 seconds) and earned 25 bonus points

3. One player selected the riders who finished on the podium correctly, but no one selected the podium results in the correct order (Pedrosa – Spies- Lorenzo)

4. Of the 17 riders on the MotoGP grid, 5 were selected to win the race (Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Hayden, Rossi)

5. Of the 17 riders on the MotoGP grid, 6 were selected for podium positions (Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Dovizioso, Rossi, Spies)

6. Bradley Smith, and Marc Marquez were the heavy favourites selected to win the 125cc race

7.  Toni Elias was by far the heavy favourite chosen to win the Moto2 race
