Silverstone – Friday report
Welcome to Silverstone!
Friday was my first day at the brand new circuit and the British weather was certainly keeping with tradition!
As I entered the hospitality area, I was greeted by the impressive Ducati suite.
It always give you a real sense that you have “arrived”: it is big, red and shiny, everything the Ducati Hospitality suite should be!
On my first day, I had to run around meeting people and make sure I knew where everything was.
Silverstone is immense!
I must admit I ended up sticking to areas close to the Media Centre and the Paddock as I was afraid I would get lost and miss my appointments.
The Paddock and The Media Centre are always very inspiring for me.
I love hearing all the different languages thrown at me, combined with a backdrop of bike engines revving all over the place!
It really makes you feel alive and excited to be there!
In the morning, I attended the Forward Racing (Moto2) press conference as they were introducing a new sponsor.
Categoria is an Italian brand of Electronic cigarettes and their logo now appears on Jules Cluzel and Claudio Corti’s bikes.
The afternoon was spent attending press conferences and interviews.
Coming up in my next articles: Saturday and Sunday reports, Interviews with Jules Cluzel, Ben Spies and Randy De Puniet, Tweet-up with Fiat Yamaha, Silverstone Racing gallery and more paddock shots…
Here is a collection of photos taken through the day.
