2. How long have you been following motorcycle racing?
JA – This is only my second year for following MotoGP, World Super Bike, American Super Bike and anything else related to two wheels.
3. Have you ever attended any races at any level?
JA – Unfortunately, No
4. What got you into Motorbike Racing?
JA – I have always wanted a motorcycle and had finally purchased one for commuting. That led me to starting my motorcycle blog, Midlife Motorcycle Madness. Then I found out a Texan, Ben Spies, was racing in World Super Bike and was doing really well. I started watching the races and then the MotoGP races and I was hooked.
5. What do you ride?
JA – I ride a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic with cams, pods, exhaust etc… named “Mistress.”
6. Most memorable experience on a motorcycle or watching bikes
JA – My solo ride to McGehee’s catfish restaurant in Oklahoma and Ben Spies winning the World Super Bike title.
7. Dorna for a day. You control Grand Prix racing at the highest level. What would you do, or change?
JA – Litre bikes and more access for the privateers to the factory technology. More TV coverage and free internet viewing for practice and everything!
8. If you could spend a day on a track with any racer (past or present), who would it be?
JA – Ben Spies
9. How and where do you normally watch the races?
JA – At home on my high definition TV with a cold Guinness in my hand.
10. Who is your favourite motorcycle racing legend?
JA – The Dr. Valentino Rossi
